Meet our Challenge Head Coach, Michael Rozzi

Originally from the area, Mike is a graduate of Monroe-Woodbury High School where he was a scholar-athlete excelling in football receiving All-State and All-County honors his senior year.

Mike went on to pursue higher education and athletics attending SUNY Cortland as a student-athlete on the football team and majoring in Physical Education.  He later transferred to Coastal Carolina University where he graduated with a bachelors degree in Exercise and Sports Science.

Over his career Mike has been a NASM Certified Personal Trainer at 24 Hour Fitness in San Diego, CA, Elite Training in Wyckoff, NJ and Straub's Fitness in Monroe, NY.  Before returning home to The Coliseum in August of 2018, Mike spent 3 years as a Sports Performance Coach at the University of Connecticut where he oversaw, developed and implemented the year round strength & conditioning program for both the Men's and Women's Tennis and Swimming NCAA Division 1 Varsity teams.

Mike currently holds certifications in:

-Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS from the NSCA)

-Precision Nutrition Level 1 (PN1)

-United States Weightlifting Performance Coach (USAW Level 1)

-Functional Movement Screen Level 1 (FMS)

-American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers


We have been hosting our Challenge groups consistently for 3 years.  As you can see our Challenges have helped countless people positively change many aspects of their lives such as; Mindset about fitness, nutritional knowledge and habits, self-image and confidence, overall health and wellness and of course their bodies! They are designed for all adults regardless of age, gender or experience level.  The Challenge is an excellent avenue if you are giving fitness a try for the first time, trying to get back into a consistent healthy routine or are tired of doing the same old thing that has not produced results for you!!

What does The Challenge offer?

  • 4 Weeks of support, structure, motivation and accountability.

  • 3 Group Training Sessions Per Week: 1 hour each, Coach led, instructional and progressive! 

  • Meal-Plan: Well balanced, detailed and easy to follow!

  • Consistent Accountability and Motivation through attendance tracking, personal text messages, a private Facebook group, weekly in-person discussions and progress tracking.

  • A digital Recipe Book to help keep your food diverse and tasty!
